Brian's 30th Birthday Dinner

After all our pre-birthday parting over the previous month (a hockey game, a trip to New York, and an evening out with a few friends at our neighborhood pub), Brian decided that he wanted to stay in for his birthday. He requested his favorite meal, cooked by yours truly.

The menu consisted of:
Chicken Parmesan, Fettucine Alfredo, Spinach Salad with a homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette, and Chianti (Gabbiano is one of our favorites).

The table setting, complete with the traditional "You are special today" Red Plate.

Dark Chocolate Mint Brownie Cake
and Guiness Chocolate Mousse with White Chocolate "Froth" (an homage to Brian's favorite beer and the fact that his birthday is on the Eve of St. Patty's Day).
